How a storm changed my life

I heard the thunder shouting

And the lightning screaming

I sat in my room with my hand to my ears

Wishing I would stop

I could feel the house shaking

All I keep saying in my head was “I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die”

“I never sore the Eifel tower; I never met my soul mate”

“But most importantly I never told the ones I love the most how much I loved them”

Then everything was still

In the morning I realised the true extent of the storm

As I watched the pictures pass by on the screen

Seeing the houses crumbled to ground

Nothing but rubble and disaster

Seeing the people homes and upset

Then realising one thing

“The things I had told myself last night”

“One of them people could have been me”

“Would never have been able to do all those things”

As soon as the thoughts cross my mind I pick up the phone and start dialling

After that day I will always remember this:

“Live life to the full because you never know what is going to happen next, you never know what is around the next corner”

Storms

Storms are wet, storms are loud

Storms can be dangerous, storms can be scary

When storms finish there is always stuff left

Storms have clouds, storms have rain

Storms can be cold, storms can be fun

They can be fun

When snow is around, storms can be swirly

Storms can be strong

Then when it stops the glamming sun can out

And makes a nice day

Where ever you go there will be storms following you around.

Keep going,

Keep fighting,

Don’t ever give in,

Don’t ever give up,

No matter what they say,

No matter what they do,

What they do to you,

Shoot left,

Shoot right,

Upper cut,

And go again,

Don’t let them get to you,

I know it’s hard,

I also know it’s true,

Take my world,

And god as my witness,

Break my world,

Destroy my world,

No matter what you do,

I’m still standing tall,

I have been through,

What you’re going through,

You maybe different,

You may not the same,

But you shouldn’t care what they say,

You’re the same on the inside,

You are who you are!

Fireworks

Fireworks are big

Fireworks are loud

Fireworks spin round and around

The crowd went silent

The crowd went wild

When the fireworks went up they all smiled

They all loved the day

They all loved to play

On the firework day

What matters to me.

Ok I know I always say that my little sister is really annoying,

But she is really special.

She dances to all my favourite songs,

And asks me if I want to join along.

She tries to help bake cakes,

But all she does is like the plate!

And when she falls over,

She starts to laugh.

 So now that I think of it,

She isn’t so bad after all!

Doomsday was a deserter

Monsters roam the town

No one will survive the undead monsters

If you have a gun you might have a chance but be careful

But don’t take your luck

Come to the ship

No Food, water, warmth

Come to the ship find me
